4-H Youth Development Program
4H Summer Camp
Come join us for Summer Camp 2013!
Our theme for 2013 is Hollywood Movies!
Everyone is welcome even ages 8-13
When is it? July 8-12.
Where is it? The Lake Arrowhead Convention Center
What do we do? Play outdoor games, swim, hike, dance, learn leadership and team building skills. Eat catered buffets for 3 meals a day with a snack shop. Sleep in dorm type rooms with Chaperones (approved by county from 4H Member families). We have a nurse available too. You will laugh a lot and make many new friends.
Look for emails regarding our monthly meetings, usually the first Monday of each month all year, at the 4H County office @ 21150 Box Springs Rd. Moreno Valley, and join in on the planning first hand.
Youth members can apply to be counselors by emailing or calling Cheryl in the county office 951-683-6491 ext. 229. This camp is supervised by approved adults but run by youth members to learn leadership skills. Apply asap to get involved in meeting plans.
We are planning monthly fundraising activities within each club to assist with the cost of camp (cost can run up to $250). In addition, 4H youth who are in good standing, have a record book and attend 3 county council meetings, may fill out a form to request $50 towards camp from council (first come first serve).
